Ozzie & Ruth met and married in Oakland, California on September 29, 1928. They moved from Berkeley to Lafayette in the Fall of 1941 just before the start of WWII. After 30 years as a salesman for Mother's Cookie Co., Oz retired in 1967 and they moved to Paradise, California. After Oz' death in 1986, Ruth returned to Contra Costa County where she resided until her passing in 1995.
