Born 3:50 A. M. Tuesday, May 6, 1919 at 1460 96th Ave, Oakland. Present were Mrs. Walker, Mrs Watson and Dr. Webber. When 12 days old she was brought to her home at 1236 89th Ave., Oakland.

Ora was my fathers father, my grandfather.  Tillie and John were my great grandparents. I remember them living on a ranch in Yuba City. My dad spoke of Roy and Monte being the rebeles of the family.  My Dad lived with John and Tillie for a time during his high school days. I believe Della Carpenter had a son Jack.  He and my dad were cousins.  Jack married Othera and we spent a lot of time with them.  Jack has passed but I believe Othera is still alive and living in Yuba City.  I have some pictures.  I am not very good on this computer business, but if you would like to see or copy any of them maybe we can get together sometime.  When my Mom passed I found a clipping she had cut out of the newspaper of Tillie talking about the quilts she had made.  I asked Othera if she knew what happened to her quilts as I am so interested in quilts and she said that I would have to talk to Hazel.  O.K. I am rambling now. I would be happy to share any information I might have. We really enjoyed the get together Sunday.
