One of the prettiest weddings of the season was solemnized last Sunday morning on the lawn of the Wolford coutry home, when Miss Lena Dildine and Lawrence Wolford plighted their troth in the presence of relatives and a few intimate friends, Rev. A. B. Morten, officiating.
After the services a wedding breakfast was served.
The date was the groom’s birthday anniversary.
Mr. and Mrs. Wolford departed by automobile on a honeymoon trip into Oregon.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Dildine of Modesto. She is a graduate of the University of California, and it was while engaged in the profession of teaching the past term of school at McConaughy that she met Wolford.
The groom is a farmer of Scott Valley. He is the son of Mrs. F. N. Payne.
