Samuel Hunt, birth date not known but ca. 1721, prob. at Maidenhead,NJ married Sarah (last name not discovered), died inMaidenhead in 1794, Will dated 16 Dec. 1783 and proved 27 Oct. 1794,devises to wife Sarah, to son Samuel (under age 21), bequeaths a "homeplantation on the main road from Trenton to Princeton," devises to hisdaughters Abigail, Rebecca, Sara, Anna, and Elizabeth, and appointsfriends Nathan Hunt, Joseph Brearley, and Nathaniel Green asexecutors. The Will of widow Sarah Hunt of Maidenhead, NJ, dated 7Dec. 1808 and proved 17 Dec 1808 devises to daughters Abigail RebekahFerguson, Sarah Hunt, Ann Hunt, and Elizabeth Van Cleve, togrand-daughter Abigail Hunt, and appoints friend Caleb Shreveexecutor. Further details on the daughters are provided by Cook, op.cit., but not shown further here. Only son Samuel was born after 1762and died after 1783. Cook had no further information on him but heappears to have married and had the daughter mentioned in hergrandmother's Will.
