Part of the will is quoted herein: That my plantation with all the buildings and what there unto belongs to be praised and put to public sale and my wife to have no part thereof, and said Plantation to be publicly advertised three months before the sale thereof and whoever byeth said Plantation to pay three hundred pounds down at the time of said sale, which sum is to be equally divided between by four eldest children, their heirs or assigns, to wit; Henry Rhodes, John Rhodes, and Frainy Prinimen [Brinimen] formerly Rhodes, and Ann Strickler, formerly Rhodes, at the time of said vandoe, and the remainder part of the price of said plantation to be paid in sale as follows; that is to say, seventy-five pounds in one year after the vandoe, and the same sum of seventy-five pounds yearly every year until the whole be paid, which I give and bequeath in the following manner; that is to say, the first seventy-five pounds to be equally divided between Christian Rhode and Anthony Rhode, Jr., the second payment of seventy-five pounds to be divided equally between Madlene Coulp, formerly Rhode, and Frederick Rhode, and Elizabeth Rhode, and the third payment of seventy-five pounds to be paid unto my two forementioned sons Christian and Anthony, and the fourth payment of seventy-five pounds to be paid unto my forementioned daughter Madlene's son Frederick and daughter ---, the fifth payment of seventy-five pounds and all --- to more, is to be equally divided among my above named children at the time of payment of each sums or to their heirs and executors, administrators or assigns by my executors hereafter named and likewise every other sum herein mentioned as above described. To my son Anthony five pounds besides what is already mentioned.

At 32 years of age Frainie became the mother of David Brenneman 1788. At 46 years of age Frainie became the mother of John Brenneman 1802.

526 iv. Anna (Rhode) Rhodes was born in Antrim, Franklin Co., PA 1756. Anna died 1833 at 77 years of age. She married Henry Strickler. Henry was born Hempfield Twp., Lancaster Co., PA 1750. Henry was the son of Henry Strickler and Anna Beidler. Henry died 1816 in Clayhill, Franklin Co., PA, at 66 years of age. At 29 years of age Henry became the father of Martha Magdalene Strickler 1/27/1780. At 34 years of age Henry became the father of Elizabeth Strickler 2/1/1785. At 38 years of age Henry became the father of Henry Strickler 3/11/1789. At 43 years of age Henry became the father of Joseph Strickler ca. 1793. At 46 years of age Henry became the father of Barbara Strickler 1796. At 51 years of age Henry became the father of Susannah Strickler 8/1801.
