“I believe that William Harrison Stewart may have been the son of Jacob Stewart b. ca 1767 Virginia. William may have been born in Woodford Co., Ky. Jacob Stewart was the son of Benjamin Stewart of Woodford Ky./Spotsylvania Co., Va. Info found in the Stewart Clan Magazine. Jacob moved to Ohio Co., ca. 1815 from Woodford Co., Ky. He and his brother Benjamin were admin. to probate of Elizabeth Williams in 1791. His father Benjamin died in 1813 in Jessamine Co., Ky. No children listed, only grandchildren, Elizabeth Stewart and Samuel Williams. (son of Elizabeth) County records of Woodford county, Ky., list Benjamin Stewart and Samuel Williams.
