Notes for Joseph Long
Revolutionary War Soldier
Notes for Sarah (Spouse 1)
Tombstone hangs in Episcopal Parich Hall, Bloomsburg, PA

Sarah Dildine (wife of Joseph Long, 1747-1800) was my 4th great grandmother. Sarah Dildine Long was born Jan. 3, 1755 and died May 7, 1840 and is buried in Bloom twp., Columbia County, PA. Sarah was the daughter of Henry and Catherine Dildine.

One of Sarah's brothers was named John and their parents were married about 1845 (1745???). John was likely the oldest son since he inheirited the homestead from his father. In the will Henry Dildine indicated he was a resident of Fishingcreek Township, Northumberland County, PA.

I have a copy of Henry Dildine's will in which he lists 7 children and some spouses.

Do you think this sounds like a possible connection?
