Elizabeth Proctor married George Hume in Spotsylvania County, VA 16 oct 1727. She was the daughter of George Proctor
(B. abt 1640 in St. George Parish, Spotsylvania County, VA) and his wife Mary ?

They had the following children:

George is the son of William Proctor ca. 1608 in Allhallowes, London, England, son of John Proctor who came in 1609

Virginia Military Records (Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc.) that George Proctor was involved in Bacon's Rebellion against the royalist colonial governor of Virginia. On 6 Feb 1676/7 in Surry County, George Proctor signed along with 39 others a request for mercy and pardon to the King of England for participation in Bacon’s Rebellion. Document called “Submission of Bacon’s Followers”. The "rebellion" was an interesting chapter you can read about in any number of websites.
