The William H. Dildine Family

William H. Dildine was probably born in Livingston County, NY in 1826. He married Sarah Aurner(Orner) in Sturgis, MI, in 1848. The Aurner family is well documented. William "Drilline" shows up in Wisconsin Indian Lands (1850 census) with wife Sarah and son Philip (b. MI). The family can be traced through census documents in Wisconsin-1855, Iowa-1860 and Missouri-1870. William dies and Sarah marries Erastus Brower. She can be traced through other census documents: Iowa 1880 and Minnesota-1900,

The children can be traced further:

C.E. Dildine is probably Charity Ellen, known later in life as Hellen. She married Henry Smith Berray, possibly divorced, and then moved to Washinton and can be traced through the 1910, 1920 and 1930 census. Her daughter Pearl Berray (Harrison, Rogers) can be traced through the same census as well as an old letter found on the Hicks family website.

Annie Mabel Dildine had 4 husbands: 1) Robert Mulligan, 2) Phylander Tallman, 3) Charles Vergin, and 4) Richard Stuart.
She had two sons: 1) Albert Clarence Mulligan, 2) Robert Tallman.
She can be traced through the 1900, 1910, and 1920 U.S. census. Annie Mabel and Richard moved to Canada and can be found on the voters list for Vanderhoof, BC in 1924. Albert moved south and can be traced on the 1920 and 1930 census.

William (Annie Mabel's twin) can be found with the family in 1900. No wife or family is mentioned.

Georgia is rumoured to have married a Mulligan and died in Saskatchewan in 1886.

Of M.W., Philip and John, I have found nothing.
