Mrs. Bertie C. Lortz
Mrs. Bertie Clark Lortz, 82, lifelong Parsonian, died at 10:50 o’clock last night at her home at 1601 Main.
Bertie Dildine was born May 15, 1873 near Parsons. She first was married to Orson L. CLark. He died in 1939.
On May 17, 1945 she was married to Edward Lortz of Independence, who survies. Other survivors include a son, Wayne K. Clark, Royal Oak, Mich., and one grandson. She was the last of eight children.
She was an active Member of the First Methodist Church where services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Dwight Dussair will conduct the rites and burial will be in Oakwood.
