Herman(Johann Hermannus) DILDINE and Jannetje DEVOOR had a son named HERMAN. Does anyone know his birth date? Was Jannetje called 'Yanaciko' by her husband Herman Sr.
I think Herman son of Herman sr and Jannetje went to NC/SC. I think he had at least 1 son named Jonathan. Jonathan was born in 1763 in what is now W VA. Herman and Jannetje were md in 1726 (according to postings), so Herman Jr could certainly been born in time to have a child in 1763.
Jonathan said his parents Herman DILDINE and UNKNOWN carried him from South Branch of Potomac River to Rutherford NC. Herman owned land in Craven Co(was once part of Rutheford NC) now Spartanburg SC. Jonathan DILDINE was 'right heir' of Herman when he sold Herman's land in 1790 in Spartanburg. Please check your data for Herman son of Herman and Jannetje between 1726 and 1763. Peggy Gunter
