Augt. 2, 1737. George x Proctor, at this time of the County of King George, planter, to John Proctor and Elias Sharpe, both of Spts. Co. £100 ster. "that parcel of land whereon my father, George Proctor, did dwell at the time of his death. 436 a. in Spts. Co., on Hasel Run, residue and remainder undisposed of by my father and by myself since his death, of 1500 a., purchased by sd. father of Wm. Strother of King George; sd. 436 a. being designed by my father to be given to his son, John Proctor, one party to these presents, and his daughter, Margaret Proctor, wife of Elias Sharpe, the other party to these presents," etc. David Bronaugh, John Steward, James Strother, Jno.
