Probably born in Amwell Twp. and died 1811 in Hardwick Twp. He settled in Sussex Co. by 1757, and in 1760 mortgaged a tract of 625 acres in Hardwick Twp. His will, written in Hardwick, indicated he was "old and infirm" Dec 28, 1808--June 7, 1811, and names 6 children, not including William, who is named in his sister Elizabeth's will, 1816, as then living. -Dharlotte R. Notes for Mary (Elizabeth) (Spouse 1)
I believe I have the pedigree of Moses Allen [10/1/1755-8/21/1833] who married a Sarah Whitaker, He was the son of George Allen [c1725-12/28/1808] and Mary Collins who died in Hardwick Twp, Sussex Co., NJ. Interested in swapping data if this is a match. Arthur Mergy, Genforum Posting

Her first name provided by Roxann Tipp , along with her direct descendants, in an email of 7-12-00.

. The Wilson Family History. Espyville, PA: (Unpublished), 1886 - 1911. page 1 says that Mary Collins and Moses Allen were born in Ireland.
