Sophie was a half-sister of John Auwärter. She worked as a maid in Reichenbach/Fils, married (09.05.1903 in Reichenbach) and lived with her husband Albert Friedrich Thudium (18.05.1880-18.04.1960) in Göppingen and later in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. There they lived in the old railway station. Albert Friedrich Thudium worked there as signal box master (Stellwerkmeister).

They had three children: Albert Christian (10.03.1903-20.12.1920), Otto Karl (02.04.1904-24.12.1904), and Anna Karoline (29.01.1907-05.01.1979).  Their son, Albert died in an tragic accident at the railway station.

When Albert Friedrich Thudium was a pensioner, he built a house in Reichenbach/Fils. in 31.08.1937 for his wife, Sophie and their daughter Anna (her husband died in 1936) and the grandchildren Eva, Albert, and Karl. ,
